Internship in a Logistics Company: Stories of NAU Students at DiFFreight

Education is not only about theory but also a lot of hands-on practice. That’s why DiFFreight has started cooperation with the National Aviation University! We offer future colleagues the opportunity to intern with us and gain experience in logistics even before graduating.

How an internship at DiFFreight works — experience from NAU students

We developed a complete internship course:

  • Theory. We focused heavily on international logistics — exactly as it is. For better structure and convenience, we recorded several podcasts!
  • Practice. We covered how to work on the Lardi platform, how to fill in transport documents, insurance applications, and much more.
  • Communication. At DiFFreight, we value students' opinions on the industry, its prospects, how logistics can be improved, and what they expect from a future career.

Here’s what students had to say about their logistics training experience at DiFFreight:

Anastasiia Kovalenko:

I really appreciated the broad and detailed training base. The course by the company’s staff was in-depth and engaging. I learned a lot about routes like China–Ukraine, USA–Ukraine, and Ukraine–Europe. After this training, I became especially interested in brokerage services — I’d like to deepen my knowledge in this field.

Yaroslav Kroplis:

I especially want to mention the friendly team! I enjoyed calling carriers, working on Lardi, and filling out documents. I’m most interested in the Ukraine–Europe–Ukraine and China–Ukraine routes.

Sofiia Ostina:

What interests me most is air freight. That part of the internship was my favorite. It was the first time I filled out CMRs, transport agreements, and I learned more about cargo insurance.

DiFFreight is a multi-profile company: from delivery from China to Ukraine, parcel services across Europe, shipping from Ukraine to the USA, to warehousing and fulfillment — our internship program will also continue to expand! We’re happy to introduce young professionals to many aspects of logistics — from standard shipping to customs clearance and providing supporting services for businesses.

Why university partnerships are valuable for the logistics market

Such collaboration is beneficial for students, universities, and logistics companies alike:

  • Training specialists. Companies can share practical experience, which can help shape educational programs. As a result, graduates will gain up-to-date knowledge and essential practical skills.
  • Internships and employment opportunities. Students receive hands-on experience before graduation, and companies have a chance to assess potential employees and attract young talent.
  • Business development. Universities are hubs of innovation and scientific research. Collaboration gives companies access to the latest advancements in automation, artificial intelligence, green logistics, and more.

This kind of partnership strengthens both the education system and the international logistics industry.

DiFFreight chooses the future of logistics — and we’re looking forward to new collaborations!

Training young logistics professionals is essential for the successful development of the industry. That’s why DiFFreight invites Ukrainian universities to collaborate!

During the internship, we don’t just provide information and skills — we also show students how our team works and how customer service operates.

We welcome inquiries from university representatives and students interested in interning with a logistics company at: [email protected].
