The 1688 marketplace has gained fame as the cheapest and most profitable for entrepreneurs. Today, we will look at ways to register on 1688. The site is in Chinese, so prepare a translator and follow the steps in our guide.
1688 is a multifunctional platform, but its main advantage lies in low prices and a huge selection of companies, wholesalers, and factories. Searching for suppliers in China should start here, but first, you need to register.
Go to 1688.com. For convenience, enable Google Translate. Click the “Register” button.
In the window that opens, select the left menu — registration by phone number. Choose your country and mobile code, enter the number, and click “Get verification code” (orange characters on the right).
Enter the code.
The platform may ask you to complete a captcha, solve a puzzle, or confirm your phone number again. In our case, the last option — wait for another code.
Since 1688 is a Chinese website, foreign users face difficulties during registration. To continue creating an account, you need to pass identification.
In this case, click the orange button and accept a call from a Chinese number. The robot will dictate four digits. We recommend recording the call and running it through an online translator. Or translate in real-time using an app on another phone.
Next, go to the menu. Select “Account Security.” Here you can link your email and set a password for future logins to the platform.
In the photo “tb47********11” — this is your login. Below is an option to change the password. For the next login, select the right tab. On the page, enter your login (a combination of two letters and 12 digits next to the avatar) and the password you set in the previous step.
